| WEEKLY BRIEFING • SEPTEMBER 21–27, 2026On the World Stage: President Trump Delivers a Defiant America First Address to the United Nations, Hosts a Historic State Visit with China’s President Xi Jinping, Signs a Historic Arctic Security Agreement, Secures Four G20 Energy Wins, and Proposes a $5,000 Dividend for Every American AdultThis week, President Trump took the America First agenda to the world. In a commanding address to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the President told the world body plainly: “While others have talked, I have acted.” He detailed a record of ended wars, secured borders, and restored American strength — a powerful reminder that peace comes through strength, not empty words.Days later, the President and First Lady hosted a historic State Visit with President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan of the People’s Republic of China. The visit advanced a fair and reciprocal relationship with China — putting American workers, farmers, and manufacturers first — and was capped by a State Dinner and cultural exchange highlighting the ties between the two nations. On September 22, the President inked a historic Arctic Security Agreement, formalizing the landmark accord with the Kingdom of Denmark and Greenland that guarantees America’s permanent security role in the Arctic — cementing the President’s status as the world’s master dealmaker. The President’s energy agenda also scored a win abroad: the G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial concluded with four consensus outcomes, advancing American energy dominance on the global stage. At home, the President signed six bills into law — H.R. 3657, H.R. 7250, S. 550, S. 603, S. 759, and S. 790 — and proclaimed Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, honoring the families of America’s fallen heroes.First Lady Melania Trump welcomed Madame Peng Liyuan to the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art and unveiled new Fostering the Future Together technology alliances, while the President issued messages honoring National HBCU Week, National Hunting and Fishing Day, and the beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. And the President made a bold promise to the American people: a $5,000 dividend for every American adult if Republicans win. The investment keeps pouring in, too — this week Hanwha Defense announced a $2.2 billion manufacturing campus in Arkansas, and Bank of America committed $150 million to workforce development — more proof the America First agenda is delivering for American workers and families. |

| “While Others Have Talked, I Have Acted”: A Defiant Address to the United Nations. Before the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, President Trump delivered a powerful America First message to the world. He laid out an unmatched record — wars ended, borders secured, hostages freed, and American strength restored — and challenged the international body to match action with words. It was a commanding reminder that under President Trump, America leads not by lecturing, but by delivering results the whole world can see.A Historic State Visit With China’s President Xi Jinping. The President and First Lady welcomed President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan to the White House for a historic State Visit, advancing a fair and reciprocal relationship that puts American workers, farmers, and manufacturers first. The visit — capped by a State Dinner and cultural exchange — showcased the President’s dealmaking on the world stage while protecting American interests at home.A Historic Arctic Security Agreement, Signed and Sealed. On September 22, President Trump inked a historic Arctic Security Agreement, formalizing the landmark accord with the Kingdom of Denmark and Greenland. The G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial concluded with four consensus outcomes, advancing the President’s vision of energy abundance and dominance on the global stage — lower costs for families and a stronger hand for America in every negotiation that follows.Six New Laws and Honoring Our Gold Star Families. At home, the President signed six bills into law — H.R. 3657, H.R. 7250, S. 550, S. 603, S. 759, and S. 790. He also proclaimed Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, honoring the families who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, and issued a message recognizing National HBCU Week.A $5,000 Promise, Culture at the White House, and Investment Pouring In. President Trump proposed a bold $5,000 dividend for every American adult if Republicans win. First Lady Melania Trump welcomed Madame Peng Liyuan to the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art and unveiled new Fostering the Future Together technology alliances. And the wins keep coming: Hanwha Defense announced a $2.2 billion manufacturing campus in Arkansas — another vote of confidence in the America First economy. |
